IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to a decrease in submissions as well as personal issues we are not able to keep up the Portents of Doom campaign. This has been an incredible experiment for us and we would like to thank all the gaming groups who have signed up and submitted their results. This does not mean that we will not support the Border Town Burning supplement any longer. In fact, we are currently preparing a contest with cool prizes so check back with the BTB website soon for updates. Again, thanks to all those who participated in this project. We hope you continue to have fun with the BTB rules set! - The BTB Team (May, 21th) |

Warbands with the Silent Threat objective get the following "achievement". They do not have to use it now or this month; they can use it once during the ongoing campaign.
Skulduggery: From now on, before a battle, the warband may exchange this objective with The Scourge of the Realm incurring no penalty on their CP. Once this is done the warband cannot change again for the remainder of the campaign. Transfer the Campaign points to the other objective sheet. From then on the warband follows all rules for Objective Progress and new Achievements as described in that objective. However, note that the warband only benefits from the achievements already made from the original objective and not those on the new one.

April Update
This month's winner is the Silent Threat with an incredible +3 ratio of CPs earned. Congratulations! They are rewarded with another piece from the BTB outtakes folder. "Skulduggery" originally was the achievement for accumulating 20 CPs on the Silent Threat objective. While this was not a bad achievement we did come up with something way more exciting (see current achievement for 20 CPs) and Skulduggery was kicked. Rules for switching objectives still made it into the objective rules, but at a penalty of -D6 CPs that is not worth most of the time. So with this achievement Silent Threat warbands have the option to turn the tide and come up with something unexpected in their campaign, just when everyone else had forgot about this...

March Update
Lots of updates this month! The scions of Chaos are still on the rise. In fact, the first gaming group has completed their Border Town Burning campaign: after 25 games Marek Ziolkiewicz managed to lead his marauders to victory. He sent his Daemon Prince's stats and rules to us and they are now available as a nicely formatted PDF file from the Border Town Burning website - complete with extra background and fluff.
Also Cian Shieldbiter has posted the latest results and battle reports of his group's campaign on Tom's Boring Mordheim Forum here and here for your reading pleasure.
As such it is no surprise that the followers of the Dark Gods come up ahead this month again. Therefore there is a special event this time, coming straight out of the BTB outtakes folder.

February Update
The first event is taking place! Thanks to all the groups who have signed up so far and made a contribution to this first outcome.
Furthermore, I'd like to draw your attention to the campaigns section. In this section you can find links to battle reports, fluff, whatever gaming groups like to share about their campaigns.
